Alta Ski Resort

Alta is located at the top of Little Cottonwood Canyon. Elevation at Base is 2,600m; Top Elevation, 3,216m. Average snowfall exceeds 1259 cm each winter season. The mountain is fairly divided for all levels of skiers: 25% Beginner, 40% Intermediate and 35% Advanced. The drive from the Salt Lake City International Airport and Downtown Salt Lake City is approximately 45 minutes.

Please note that Alta is for skiers- no snowboarding.
